Most firms make you sit through two meetings to learn a number. Here are ours. Honest ranges, not bait — and at the bottom, what moves a project up or down within a band.
| Service | Rate | Notes |
|---|---|---|
| Fractional CTO / Head of Engineering | £800/day | Typically 1–4 days a month. Strategy, hiring, architecture, vendor management. |
| Architecture / AWS review | £2,400 fixed | Two weeks part-time; written report and prioritised plan. |
| Technical due diligence | £2,950 fixed | For acquisitions and investments; report within 10 business days. |
| Ad-hoc advisory day | £950/day | Single days, short notice. |
UK market for this seniority runs roughly £900–£1,400/day. We price below that range deliberately while we build the named-client base — early clients get the early price.
| Configuration | Rate | What you get |
|---|---|---|
| Delivery pod | £6,700 / sprint | UK technical lead (architecture, review, your point of contact) + 2 senior engineers full-time + QA. Sprints are 2 weeks. |
| Larger pod | £9,800 / sprint | As above with 3 engineers and dedicated QA. |
| Single senior engineer | £2,450 / sprint | For steady, well-defined workstreams, with light-touch UK oversight. |
A comparable UK-agency pod bills £25,000–£40,000 per sprint. Our delivery engineers are senior members of our global delivery team — working outside the UK, led from inside it — which is how the same fortnight of senior work lands at £6,700 with UK leadership included. That's the business model in one sentence, because you'd work it out anyway and we'd rather be the ones who told you.

A worked example
A UK supported-accommodation provider was running a growing portfolio on spreadsheets and memory. We built them a single operations platform: rooms, tenants and tenancies in one place; monthly rent tracking with Universal Credit and council payment workflows; payment logging with batch reconciliation; maintenance, inspections and compliance with automated reminders; and dashboards that show this month's position at a glance.
The result: around 50 hours a week saved on tenant management, and rent arrears down 30%. Projects of this shape typically run £6,000–£12,000 over 4–6 weeks.
What pushes a project to the top of its band: payments or anything regulated; integrations with systems that fight back; messy data migration; many user roles. What keeps it at the bottom: one sharp workflow, clean data, and a decision-maker who answers questions inside a day.
